Our class 3 course is for those needing to obtain their Class 3 medium combination vehicle license.

Unit standards covered:

• US 17575 - Operate a Class 3 medium combination vehicle.
• US 24089 - Work time/Fatigue/Log Book (May not be required if you can provide evidence that you have completed this unit standard in the last 12 months

Normally run over two days, Day 1 is the Logbook/Fatigue component and Class 3 Theory. Day 2 is the drive assessment.

You will need to provide a truck for this course as we do not have one available for hire for Class 3.

You will need to have your class 3 learners prior to the course (get this from the AA) and also have a recent medical (Within 5 years).

Course Costs:

Logbook (if required) and Class 3 Theory & Practical -
$1095 plus GST

Class 3 Theory & Practical Only - $950 plus GST

Truck Hire (if required) - $375 plus GST

All courses are non-refundable once commenced.

Credits for unit standards will be reported to NZQA through the MITO Business Division of Te Pūkenga Work Based Learning Limited in the approved capacity as a MITO Registered Independent Assessor.

Course fees do not cover the cost of putting the Class of license or Endorsement on your license.

In the event of a resit there will be an extra cost/fee incurred if hiring a truck from us.
